(Brief Description / Abstract) :

Dr. T. U. Patro is presently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Metallurgical & Materials Engineering at Defence Institute of Advanced Technology, Pune. Before the current position, he worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel, for more than two years. He obtained his MTech in Materials Technology, IIT(BHU), erstwhile Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University, followed by a Ph.D. from the Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Bombay. His research interests include polymer composites, structure-property relationship in nanocomposites, and polyurethane and carbon foams.
